Update to Cat 2.0 coming soon

The INFOhio technical team is working hard to implement as many of the suggestions posted to this site as possible in the next release which we expect to release January 2010.

At the Oct. 21st meeting the INFOhio Users Council considered the many great suggestions posted to this site and voted for the features that they felt were the most important for Ohio Schools.

Coming January:

• Visual Search will search HERE library only
• Material type icon display on brief results list
• Corrected reading level search for Lexile level (521 tag)
• Navigation links replaced with more visible buttons
• Call number on brief display more visible

The INFOhio programmers are still working to see how many of your requests they can have ready in the next month so stay tuned.

INFOhio intends to continue improving Cat 2.0 and we plan to move Cat Jr. to this new, more powerful platform in the summer of 2010 as well.
We hope that this feedback site will continue be an online conversation about the new catalog from those using it across Ohio.

Students: We do want to hear your comments and suggestions about the online catalog.
But for suggestions of items that you would like to see in your library please contact your school librarian.  The online catalog design team has no vote in what is available in your school library so posting suggestions to this site will not help get the desired items in your library.
